A gift from Ness

Recently I was given an old notebook by a lovely Christian woman from the district of Ness on the Isle of Lewis. In the notebook she had hand written a few stories that had been blessed to her own soul. She handed the notebook to me and asked me to copy what I wished for inclusion on Apples of Gold. My typing is slow at the best of times but I am enjoying typing out these stories and I pray that they may also prove a means of blessing to your soul also.
